Suspension against Turkmenistan Cycling Federation was approved at the UCI Congress held on 23rdSeptember, 2011 for its long non-payment of the UCI/ACC affiliation fees due.
The recommendation of the suspension was made during the ACC Congress in February 2011 and also endorsed by the UCI Management Committee on 21stSeptember at Copenhagen just one day before the UCI Congress of 22ndSeptember.
The suspension as a member of the Continental Confederation entails the following measures:
-Non-participation in the ACC Congress;
-Inadmissibility of the nominations made by that member federation;
-Exclusion of its cyclists from Asian Championships, Regional Games and UCI
Sanctioned Races.
