* Sheikh Osama Ahmad Abudulla Alshafar elected as President for Asian Cycling Confederation
* Onkar Singh nominated as Secretary General for Asian Cycling Confederation.
Osama Ahmad Abudulla Alshafar of UAE will be the new President of Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC). This good news for Cycling fans came on Friday (03 March 2017) late evening from ACC Congress in Bahrain. While Secretary General Onkar Singh took over from Boo Woong Choi of Korea.
Sheikh Osama Ahmad Al Shafar from UAE will be the new president of ACC who will take charge from Hee Wook Cho of Korea. Mr. Sheikh Osama will be the 9th President of Asian Cycling Confederation.
Cycling Federation of India President Mr. Parminder Singh Dheendsa also elected as Vice President of Asian Cycling Confederation.
Elated Sheikh Osama Ahmad Abudulla Alshafar thanked all the 41 Asian Nations for the faith they have shown in the new President. He also thanked all the Cycling lovers for their unconditional support and said that without your love and blessing this would have never been possible.
He also said that ‘I am doing my best to uplift the Cycling sport in Asia and with this new energy I can do more with new strategy.’
