A National level Cyclothon event was organized at Indore on 21st Jan 2018, by cycling federation of India in association with Indore cycling association. 110 Elite men & 30 Elite women Riders participated in 94Kms, Road race for Men & 54Kms. Road race for women event .The Race was flagged of by Sh. Kailash Vijayvargiya , General Secretary BJP and Sh. Onkar Singh , Secretary General Asian Cycling Confederation & Cycling Federation Of India .
The Event also witnessed more than 20,000 Cyclist participating in 20Kms green ride as well as 300 plus riders in Men & Women category took part in Amateur category race of 43Kms for Men & 27Kms for Women riders.
Sh. Dharmendra Pradhan , Honorable Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas graced the occasion to Flag off the mammoth gathering of 20,000 plus riders in green ride category. Rs 8 Lakh of Prize money was distributed among the winner in Elite & Amateur category of riders up to the 10th place. Also the Organizers distributed 100 bicycles among the green riders.
The event marked as one of the most Successful Cyclothon event was supported by PCRA (Petroleum Conservation & Research Association). Cycling federation of India, which was technical Partner of the Event extended all support to make the event a grand success. The following winners were awarded the cash award during the prize distribution ceremony
