Major decisions made at the ACC Management Committee held in Incheon on 26th Sept 2014 during the Incheon Asian Games are as follows:

1.   Separate the annual Asian Track and Road Cycling Championships which have been held in a country by a single organizing federation for more than 50 years. In other words, the annual Asian Track Championships will be separated from the annual Asian Road Championships starting from the year of 2017. By this. The 2017 Asian Track Championships will be scheduled usually in February, while the Road Championships organized in other month and place by different Organizing Federation.

The separated annual Asian Championships for Track and Road cycling aims to allow those NF without any velodrome(s) in them to have more opportunities to organize the annual Asian Road Championships, and also to go along in line with the period of the annual UCI Track and Road World Championships.

It is expected that the NF without their velodromes can be able to bid the Asian Championships for Road in their countries, and thus contribute toward more growth of cycling Asia wide.

2.   All Individual Road Races of the 2015 Asian Road Cycling Championships which will be staged at Nakhon Rachasima in Feb will be conducted at night time due to terribly warm temperature of the daytime at the competition venues.

In order to provide maximum and sufficient brightness like daytime, a lot of lighting systems has been now under construction by the OC along the all road circuits which is 9-10 Km in length. Also, to prevent any possible emergency like all blackout accident, the OC has been known to take its every best possible measures by setting up double power systems and so on
