We tried to develop and promote about cycling in Asia where increase in

for talent scout and cultivation. We mainly target South East and South Asia which is hard to come to Japan due to financial problem and so on.
Also, we introduced to participated coaches about effective training method based on sports science and made learn coaching technique. We
promoted cycling Asia by cultivation of excellent coaches, too. Then, regarding election of the venue, we could agree with Thai Cycling Association by negotiation about cooperation for holding the camp. At the
first stage, we planed to hold the camp at Suphanburi province, but had to change the venue from Suphanburi to Bangkok,Hua-mark Velodrome due to internal situation of Suphanburi.

・For participated countries, they can take part in both of our camp and ACC Track Asia Cup 2014 at a time effectively. So, we and TCA can target to increase participants number.

・Thailand is a safe place in this area comparatively. TCA relate intimately
with armed force and police, so it뭩 easy that safe is ensured by them. The participants get centered on in safety training environment.

・ The country is located in center of this area and has a huge hub
international airport, so it뭩 easy that every countries come to there. Also, it is close from airport to the venue, so participants get relief from stress of movement.

・NF뭩 office in the velodrome, and they have a lot of experiences about
international events (race, seminar, training camp and so on), so we can
trust in them. We expect good responses by them in that any emergency
and irregular situations. Therefore, we can manage the training camp
smoothly.

・Thailand is active in track event in this area comparatively. So, we can
expect that뭩 easy to source about spare parts and so on for track cycling.

? Training camp
In principal, its application capacity is 24 persons (3 persons per a country) from 8 countries, but it was 37 persons from 9 countries in this time. It was over the capacity. However, Kazakhstan canceled just before the opening on 28th September due to internal situation. In the result, the participated number was 33 persons (24 riders and 9 coaches) from 8 countries and areas. It was training camp of hugest number and multinational recent years. Especially, Uzbekistan and Macau China are first time to take part in our, CCC Shuzneji training camp in both of domestic and overseas in the past. Macau China don뭪 have velodrome in their country and any track bike.

TCA provided track bikes for them during the camp. Regarding daily training time, we avoided hottest term around noon in this country, put in morning session is 8:00 to 10:30 and afternoon session is 14:30 to 17:00.
Also TCA understood about this matter, too. Thailand national team arranged to eliminate overlap with our training time and their training. We
deeply appreciated for their great sensitivity. Regarding Korean and Uzbekistan riders took long-term for acclimatization of high temperature
and humidity, because their country is not hot. TCA made consideration
about the environment, too. We obligated that riders must measure
body-weight and heart rate in every morning and fill in cover displayed in
front of lobby of hotel so that we and their coaches could find manifestation of over training. Regarding training program, please check the appendix. In the first half, we did basic training by light gear ratio for muscle hypertrophy and increasing of cardiopulmonary function etc. And in the latter half, 11 riders who took part in ACC Cup were trained by training program for each event with request from participated coaches. Other riders did power training with a little bit heavy gear ratio for output power ability of neuromuscular. We had meeting with participated coaches just after every training. We tried to introduce discuss about target of training for that day, how to make a training plan of long, middle and short term, weight training for cycling based on sports medical and science with feed-back of the data for rider뭩 heart rate, successive pictures for riding form and pedaling to cultivate excellent coaches. I mention my comment for each countries or areas as following.

・Chinese Taipei (Junior male 3 riders)
They joined us without any coach. They dont understand English so well,
and there are some cases to missed to listen our direction. However,
Singapore rider can talk with them by Chinese language, so he translated
between us and them. His translation was very helpful for us. Taipei riders
also understood our direction by his translation. 3 riders took apart in ACC
Cup, one of them who worked hard training got gold medal at Sprint, 2
bronze medals at 1 km TT and Keirin. At the race day, our assistant coach,
Mr. Koba took care of them from morning of all day. His support hold their great success at the back.

・Hong Kong China (Junior 1 male and 1 female riders)
They joined us since 3rd Oct due to their internal race in Hong Kong. They
also took part in the camp without any coach. But they seemed to be used to stay for training and race in oversea, so they could blend right in with other member soon. HKG is sending riders in every training camp, so they doesnt need to adjust their position of bike, riding form and pedaling grossly. They seemed that could ride by effectively form and pedaling. Male rider got 2 gold at ACC Cup and female also got a silver medal at Individual Pursuit.

・Korea (Elite male 2 riders and 1 coach)
2 university students took part in the camp. Both of them are for short
distance riders. Coach is positive character, and he listened about our
direction and told to riders. Also, he helped other countrys riders without
any coach. Riders also had a conscious to adjust their form and pedaling
by our direction. The maximum heart rate of one of them was over 200 at
training, we can expect their great success from a viewpoint of
physiological science, too.

・Macau China (Junior male 2 riders and 1 coach)
As above mentioned, both of riders and coach were first experience about
track event. At first, riders got bewildered by track bike, but finally, they
could reached the level they joined lap warming up with other experienced riders, flying and standing dash by keen coaching of Mr. Koba. After the camp, riders went back to Macau for examination at school, but coach stayed to learn about track event at ACC Cup in Bangkok. According the coach, Macau is near Hong Kong, so riders will be able to practice track event at new HKG velodrome 2 or 3 times per week, so they would like to focus on track event in the future, too.

・Malaysia (Junior 4 male and 4 female riders, 2 coaches)
Continuously last year, the participated riders belong National Sports
Council of Malaysia, they are junior category and their coaches. All
participants are very keen, especially, latest Malaysian junior riders and
coaches are very earnest and positive for cycling and training. They didnt
take part in ACC Cup, but I feel sure Malaysia will become higher position
at leading nation of track event by their growing.

・Singapore (Elite male 1 rider)
He has enough experience to take part in our training camp. He was very
tired, but he is always very positive and asked a lot of questions about
cycling. As above mentioned, he helps us for translation from English to
Chinese language. He has great human qualities in usual life as athlete.
We hope he will accumulate more enough experience as rider in the field,
and then become a good coach for cycling. We hope to ginger up about
Singapore cycling in the future.

・Thailand (Junior 2 male and 2 female riders, 4 coaches)
Every year, young riders and their coaches from local province in Thailand
take part in the camp. We understand TCA aims to growing up about
cycling level in Thailand by promotion and development of the base (young people). Mr. Jutatip Maneephan who took part in some our training camps got a gold medal in Inchon Asian Games 2014 at individual road race. According a relative person, TCA seems to acknowledge the importance of this camp again.

・Uzbekistan (Elite 2 male riders and 1 coach)
The country is first time to take part in our training camp. A coach is
playing coach, so he also joined the training session. They got bewildered
at the first stage about interval training they didnt know. But we told to
coach about the importance of the training and riders also devoted to
training all over creation. At ACC Cup, they took part in Team Pursuit, so
we did training them by the event in the last half of the camping period.
They got a bronze medal at the event. Also, the coach got a gold medal at
Point race and silver medal at Individual Pursuit.

B) Discovery and cultivation of promising riders in Asia
In this time, the percentage of 76% riders are young age junior or youth
category. In Asia area, each NF focus on cultivation and strengthening for
young athletes year by year, we can expect that the influence will appear
as good result. Particularly, Asian people luck of opportunity to ride bicycle at schoolage stage compare than Europe, so it뭩 very important to set the stage for physical and skill of young athlete by repetition of basic training at this age for their flourish future. If young athlete doesn뭪 be trained basic training at this stage, they will not continue to archive good results, and athlete life will be shortened. Therefore, it뭩 very important like the activities for discovery and cultivation of promising riders in Asia where is increasing in population and very meaningful. Especially, the great success of Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong China show up at ACC Cup in this time. We have no doubt that their precious experience of participation to training camp and competition without own coach at oversea is contributory to their great success in the future.

C) PR for utilization of CCC Shuzenji
We were pleasure that 9 countries including Kazakhstan (just before
cancel), many countries applied to this camp and we could know as much
about our importance of existence in Asia at the same time. This is the sign of trust in us of NF that we can support and care riders, if they take part in our training camp and competition without own coach. Additionally, we turn out a lot of medalists at Olympic Games, World Championships and World Cup from past our training camp since our established. On this good occasion, we could contact with in charged person of each NF for PR of using our training camp in the future, we could transmit the information and photos of our support for riders without own coach at real time to the world by SNS (social network system) of fecebook and so on, too. We think that PR will be connected to benevolent circle about obtainment of trust by NF and promotion of utilization of CCC Shuzenji in the future.
