ACC Management Committee (MC) was held at Hotel Bumi Senyiur, Samarinda, Indonesia on 14th Aug, 2009 at 2 p.m. during the 2009 Asian Cycling Championships in Indonesia.
Attended by 11 Board members, the agenda included Confirmation of the Minutes of the ACC MC of 19th and 20thMarch,2009, Reports of various ACC Committees, Report on the 2009 Asian Cycling Championships, Indonesia, the 2009 Asian MTB Championships, Malaysia, the 2009 Asian BMX Championships, Hong Kong, the 2010 Asian Cycling Championships, UAE, the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China, Confirmation of 9 Voting Delegates from Asia to the 2009 UCI Congress, Application for the use of CHF 1,500 credited by UCI for 2009, ACC merit and other matters.
During the 4hrs-long Meeting, the Board members, in particular, discussed in depth on how to achieve the best strategy whereby Mr. Al-Qassimi, the 2nd candidate from Asia to the UCI MC Members can be successfully elected in the UCI Congress election scheduled for 25th Sept,2009 at Lugano, Switzerland.
