According to Cycling Federation of India (CFI), Mr. Sukdev Singh Dhindsa, President of CFI and also a Co-opted Member of the ACC Management Committee has been resigned from the CFI position on 8thApril, 2011, as per CFI Constitution, as he reached the age of 75. It was also informed by CFI that Mr. Gajen Ganla became the President of CFI succeeding Mr. Dhindsa.

According to the Cycling Federation of India (CFI), the elections of the CFI Management Committee were held on 26thJune, 2011 at Punjab Bhawan, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi.
 
The following new officer bearers of the CFI have been elected for the term of 2011-2015:

1. In an effort to promote Tack and Road cycling in the South East Asian countries, the ACC and Thai Cycling Association (TCA) are going to organize a 12-day coaching course under a NFDF Program in September, 2011 at Bangkok, Thailand as follows:
 
  1) Name of the Course: The 2011 SEA Coaching Course for Track and Road Cycling;
  2) Objective of the Course: To promote practical training techniques, skills and
     knowledge for the coaches invited from the SEA countries;
3) Period of the Course: 1st Sept-12thSept, 2011 (12 days);

Mr. Chhimi Urkyen Gurung, President of Nepal Cycling Association and a group of Guinness Book Record holder Mountaineers, supported by ACC President, have gone to clean Mt. Everest as part of the Sherpa Everest Cleaning Expedition 2011 on the occasion of Nepal Tourism Year in prevention of the Global Warming.

Cycling Federation of India Secretary General Onkar Singh has been elected as Secretary General of the Asian Cycling Confederation during the Congress of the continental body in Bahrain.

Onkar Singh will take over as ACC Secretary General from Boo Woong Choi of Korea.

The ACC Congress also elected Cycling Federation of India President Parminder Singh Dheendsa as its Vice-President.

Sheikh Osama Ahmad Al Shafar from UAE will be the new president of the ACC and he will take charge from Hee Wook Cho of Korea.

On 21st July 2011, Mr. Lee Dong Yeup, a Korean Cycling Trainer was sent to Myanmar
 Cycling Federation in order to train Myanmar Men and Women National Cycling Teams for 4
 months in Myanmar till November for their preparations of the 2011 SEA Games to be held
 in Indonesia from 11th to 22nd Nov.
