India뭩 First UCI Asia Tour Calendar: Tour de Delhi

The Tour de Delhi-Cyclothon 2010 made its first appearance this year on the UCI Asia Tour calendar, and finished its tough competitions on 29th August, 2010 (Sunday) at a circuit including Parliament Street and Ashoka Road in Delhi, India.

Conducted as a dress rehearsal for the road cycling races of the Commonwealth Games 2010, and flagged off by Commonwealth Games Organizing Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi, Mr. Dhindsa, President of Cycling Federation of India,
And Mr. Choi, B.W. Secretary General, ACC,  the Tour drew all 8 cycling teams from Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Malaysia and India with a total of 55 riders started, but only 44 finishing under a 34 degree heated and humid weather.

After 10 laps of hard splints, the winner prize money was awarded to Brown Arran (RSA), while the runner-up prize money went to Lange Malcolm (RSA) and Maint Berkenbosch (NED): See the Results of the Races attached below.
